Just a few random thoughts which have been fluttering around in my head:

1. Brent's brother, Brandon, is getting married on the 21st. Wanna guess what her name is? Julie. That's right. So there is Brent's mom (Julie), myself (Julia), and now my sister-in-law (Julie). Do I hear Freudians laughing it up out there? Oh, but the strangeness doesn't stop there. Brent's sister Melanie's husband's name is Brent and his other sister Michelle's husband is Brandon. Thoroughly confusing. The only one who doesn't "fit" is Megan's husband Luke. Sorry, man. No one can bat a 1000. --is that the right sports analogy? is 1000 good?

2. While reading an old Real Simple mag I came across what I thought was a pretty nifty idea. Writing your kids a letter now for when they are older, the difference is to write it for a specific event. For example: when they get their first job, the first heart- break, first time they wreck the car, etc.

3. Megan and I took Hayden and Noah swimming for the first time yesterday (we're taking a parent/infant swim class--pictures to come I'm sure) and getting there was pretty funny. At least for me. First of all I put H. in his swim diaper and I realized it was a girl's diaper. I had just picked up the package, not paying much attention, little did I realize it was a Dora the Explorer diaper with pink flowers and stuff all over it. How embarrassing. Thankfully Megan had made the same mistake so both N. and H. were sporting the feminine colors (don't tell their fathers). By the time we reached the pool H. had wet through his diaper. This didn't make sense to me. If the purpose of a swim diaper is to keep bodily functions out of the pool then why can't they keep said functions in the diaper? Odd. The boys "learned" to float on their backs, kick their feet, and more. Good times. They liked it, I think.

4. So You Think You Can Dance is on tonight. LOVE that show. By far the most entertaining thing on TV (in the summer, anyway). Four of the top twenty are from SLC. WOO WOO. Watch it, you'll love it like I do.

Very close on the batting average, Chia. You just forgot a decimal. Batting 1.000 would be perfect. What can I say. It's baseball.

I like these random thoughts. Especially about the swim diapers. Maybe they are just suppose to keep #2 out of the pool? Not sure on this end either. Loved your Yellowstone pictures by the way :)
