1. i haven't bought a new pair of shoes (minus running shoes because you can't run in platforms) in 7 years. i'd post a picture of the shoes i own but it is just too embarrassing. i suppose this is what prompted my mother to give me a gift card to a shoe store for C-mas.
2. i still buy my make-up at the grocery store. i think at my age i'm supposed to have graduated to department store make-up and maybe even sephora now that utah has been blessed with one, but i haven't. i buy it at wal-mart usually. *gasp*
3. i don't own a good pan. not one. all of my pans are hand-me-downs from past room mates or house mates of b-rent. i suppose this is what happens when you practically elope.
4. my look has morphed into some sort of bad version of the wal-mart mom. ok. maybe not quite that bad, but almost. i look around me and want to be cute in my style, but am completely unsure as to how to go about it.
5. original thoughts and complete sentences when speaking have all but left me.
6. i don't like to play games with my kids. i know that sounds awful, but i don't. i'm not saying i don't play games with them, i'm just saying i don't really enjoy it.
7. i only vote in presidential elections and even then don't often see the point (i feel a lecture coming on from two brothers and a brother in law).
8. i sometimes regret getting my dog because he requires so much attention and i often don't have the time to give it to him. then i feel guilty, which i definitely don't have time for.
9. i really get a kick out of the children in my life because they are so blasted funny and crack me up even though they don't take to kindly to sleeping.
10. i love, love, love that you can hide spinach in smoothies. this is my favorite thing to do and makes me feel uber healthy.
11. when i started this list i only had two "confessions" and just look at all of the awesomeness i came up with.
12. yesterday i ran 8.5 miles. --that's not a confession, but it IS pretty darn cool.

i love spinach smoothies, too. makes me feel like i'm doing a really good job in life. i am easily satisfied.

i do want to go check out sephora, lets go get some make overs together and then go shoe shopping...that my friend is something i excell in!

Good job on your run Julia! I also am a supermarket makeup adult, and I had a spinach smoothie yesterday. I could go on...because I hate my dog. lol!
