It's Baaaack

So You Think You Can Dance has returned to the airways. Seriously LOVE that show. As I've mentioned one gaZILLION times--I love to dance and when I watch SYTYCD I picture myself onstage shakin' it up with the best of them. I've even found myself chair dancing while watching. What? Yes. Yes, I am a bit of a geek, but I'll challenge you to a dance off any day.

Hayden is at the best age. Oh man, that kid...you can do nothing but fall in love with him. H. is currently obsessed with letters. No. For those of you who are wondering--I don't force him to learn them or quiz him or have a study time, he just picked them up and now won't let them go. We'll be driving down the street and I'll hear him spouting out random letters in the back seat only to look up and see them on a billboard or sign. He loves the PBS kids shows Super Why and Word World. He will bring you book to read any chance he gets. Is he a genius? I doubt it, but he sure loves his alphabet.

Scout is a talker. I can just see her getting in trouble at school for not being able to listen. She's not like H. who would just talk to the angels and you and the wall and his stuffed animals, but if you start talking to her her little face lights up and off she goes. So cute.

B. is working like it's going out of style--and some days, listening to the news, I think it just might be. He's gone a lot, but that also means we currently have enough moula (sp?) for what we need and a little extra. For this I am grateful. He's a good man, that husband o' mine. I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Me? Well, I'm surviving. Some days better than others. This mother thing is harder than it looks, I'll tell you what. I'm not complaining (oh, you'll know if I'm doing that), just saying "Hey! I'm just figuring this stuff out so if my house looks like a bomb went off, cut me some slack!"

TTTTTHHHHAT'S ALL FFFOLKS.

And I will entertain all of Hayden's alphabet genius.

Remember when we used to get kicked out of Mr. Harvey's class for talking too much?--looks like Scout might be taking after her mama!
