two weeks ago the heating element in my dishwasher decided not to turn off and was on for several hours. sadly, this meant many melted items in my dishwasher. the top pic is of the bottom rack where i had a water bottle--it's the thing that is melted completely and covering the little prong thingys. the middle pic is the utensil basket--completely melted through. the red thing was a peeler. and the bottom pic is a salad spinner i had recently purchased--not so much usable anymore. this was on the top rack and apparently when ge dishwashers have meltage on the top rack then ge will replace the entire dishwasher. unfortunately, i was unaware that i was the replacement dishwasher. hahahahahaha. jokes of course, i'm just waiting for the replacement and hope it get here soon.

it's an interesting relationship my children have. sometimes he loves her and she is happy. sometimes he thinks she needs a hat and she is surprised--mostly because the hat is a strainer.

h. loves the water. yes. this is the same kid who screamed at bath time only two months ago (he still hates washing his hair. one fear to conquer at a time i suppose). wherever we go you can be sure that little h. will sniff out the water and find something to throw in it--sometimes that something is himself as you can see in picture number one, mostly it's just rocks and twigs though.

Regarding the dishwasher malfunction...I think you may have stumbled on the next craze in modern art! You should move the "artistic" dishwasher into the garage and sell your creations. Give me a 10% cut and I'll let everyone believe it was your idea. :-)
